Mushrooms a la Gaston

Argentina is the worlds best country for BBQ.

Luckily I had the opportunity to be part of the Birthday Party of the father of my friend Gaston . The whole family came to Lujan, a nice city outside of Buenos Aires, to do just one thing: Asado! That´s the typical Argentinian BBQ.

Everyone prepared something to grill. A french couchsurfer put some onions into the fire. After a while they get really sweet and tasty (you have to remove the burnt dark parts first of course 😉 ). I made Feta Cheese a la Anna (recipe is coming soon) and Gaston made his really delicious mushrooms:

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation Time: 5-10min

Ingredients:

Mushrooms

Butter

Blue Cheese / Roquefort/ Bavaria Blue

Whisky

(Balsamico Reduction )

First you have to remove the stalks of the mushrooms. While grilling them on the upper side, you prepare the filling. Mix butter (1/3) with roquefort (2/3) and some whiskey. Then stuff the mushrooms with it and put them back on the grill. If you want you can put a little bit of Balsamico Reduction on top. Now wait until the mushrooms are done and enjoy!
